    My Name, But Not My Person My name is Christiana Iyanuoluwa Kolapo. You might have heard the name before; if not, here you are, hearing it now. Recently, a question came to my mind: "How many people truly know me?" To satisfy my curiosity, I asked around. To my surprise, many people — including those I've spent years with — couldn't really describe who I am. They knew my name, yes, but not my person. Not my story. Not my heart. It hurt. It still does, though. But then, I saw a mirror — this is how many of us are with Jesus . We know His name. We speak His name. We even perform wonders in His name. But do we truly know Him ? In John 6:26, Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.” They followed Him for what He could give, not for who He was.
